Existing Key Positions who support our STOP Threat Assessment Grant


Dr. Brian McDonald Superintendent
Dr. Brian McDonald, Superintendent, provides oversight of the program and serves as the liaison between the district and the Board of Education, as well as all other external stakeholders.

Elizabeth J. Blanco, Ed.D., Chief Academic Officer
Elizabeth J. Blanco, Ed.D., Chief Academic Officer leads the instructional strategies for the District's students, implementing the District's instructional plan, and overseeing a variety of academic programs, including elementary and secondary instruction; special education; arts, gifted, and multilingual education; and curriculum, instruction and professional development.

Julianne Reynoso Project Director
Julianne Reynoso, Project Director is responsible for the financial integrity of the grant as well as approval of all new hires and contracts. He/she serves on the CAC and supervises all program staff including consultants and the project evaluator. He/she reports all findings and progress to the superintendent, PUSD school board, and CAC (community stakeholders). He/she is responsible for the administrative fidelity of the grant, ensuring it is compliant with all federal, state, and district policies.

 


Lara Choulakian LCSW, PUSD,
Project Coordinator
Lara Choulakian, LCSW, PUSD, Project Coordinator for Individual Threat Assessments, oversees the day-to-day operations of all individual threat assessments, which includes supervising and managing the training of the District’s Crisis Team and the School site Crisis Teams. Ms. Choulakian serves as the liaison with DMH and their SMART training program.
