Existing Key Positions who support our STOP Training Grant


Dr. Brian McDonald Superintendent
Dr. Brian McDonald, Superintendent, provides oversight of the program and serves as the liaison between the district and the Board of Education, as well as all other external stakeholders.

Elizabeth J. Blanco, Ed.D., Chief Academic Officer
Elizabeth J. Blanco, Ed.D., Chief Academic Officer leads the instructional strategies for the District's students, implementing the District's instructional plan, and overseeing a variety of academic programs, including elementary and secondary instruction; special education; arts, gifted, and multilingual education; and curriculum, instruction and professional development.

Julianne Reynoso Project Manager
Julianne Reynoso, Project Manager is responsible for the financial integrity of the grant as well as approval of all new hires and contracts. He/she oversees the CAC and supervises all program staff including consultants and the project evaluator. The Project Director reports all findings and progress to the superintendent, PUSD school board, and CAC (community stakeholders). He/she is responsible for the administration and financial fidelity of the grant project, ensuring it is compliant with all federal, state, and district policies. He/she leads, manages, and oversees all aspects of STOP, including development of the sustainability plan.

 


STOP Project
Coordinator/Trainer
To be hired, STOP Project Coordinator/Trainer (PCT). One PCT will be hired to coordinate all training sessions conducted under this grant program, which will include outreach, registration, logistics, and providing training in early warning signs, suicidal ideation, and crisis teams to PUSD teachers in a Train-the-Trainer format, as well as conducting these trainings for the community at large. The PCT is also responsible for the education and outreach campaigns, using the toolkits and resources provided by external trainers.
